Professional Behaviour
- Maintain professional boundaries at all times.
- Treat all learners with dignity, respect and fairness.
- Do not engage in any behaviour that could be misinterpreted as grooming or favouritism.
- Do not use inappropriate language or share personal opinions that could cause harm.
Online Conduct
- Use only ATTC approved platforms and accounts (Google Meet, Teams, Zoom)
- Keep cameras on during lessons unless agreed otherwise.
- Ensure a neutral, professional background.
- Do not contact learners outside scheduled sessions.
- Do not share personal contact details or social media accounts.
Safeguarding Responsibilities
- Report any safeguarding concern immediately to the DSL (Paul Sanchez).
- Record concerns factually and without delay.
- Never promise confidentiality to a learner.
- Follow Prevent Duty guidance and report concerns about radicalisation.
Lesson Conduct
- Start and end sessions on time.
- Maintain appropriate dress and behaviour.
- Do not tutor from a bedroom unless the background is neutral and appropriate.
- Do not meet learners in person.
Prohibited Actions
- No private messaging with learners outside approved channels.
- No gifts, loans or personal favours.
- No recording sessions unless authorised by ATTC Education.
- No discrimination, harassment or bullying.
Breach of Code
Any breach may result in:
- Suspension
- Termination of contract
- Referral to the LADO
- Referral to the DBS for barring consideration
